Preferably, photographs showing the defect should also be provided along with a written report of the circumstances involved. Warranty claims not made within 30 days after discovery of the defect shall be null and void.
WARRANTY DETERMINATION:
If a warranty claim is found to be valid and made within the warranty period, we reserve the right, at our discretion, to repair the defect, replace the product with the same or current model free of charge, or issue a credit for the reasonable cost of repair or take possession of the equipment and issue reimbursement for its calculated value.

Dealer or other entity repairs must have prior written authorization. Reimbursement will be at the current “Sullivan Equipment Co Warranty Labor Rate” and will not include reimbursement for offsite travel. A Warranty Claim Form must be submitted within 45 days of warranty repair authorization to receive credit for repair.

Handle Long Materials Safely and Easily
The Star Industries crane spreader bar is an ideal solution for lifting long or awkward materials that may bend during handling. It works well with rebar cages, beams, trusses, and metal roofing or siding.
Adjustable Spreader Bar
A crane spreader bar makes lifting long materials safer and more efficient. Handling items like beams, rebar, or roofing sheets can be tricky and dangerous if done incorrectly. Using a crane spreader bar, which is ANSI/OSHA compliant, provides a cost-effective solution that supports long loads during lifts.
What Is a Crane Spreader Bar?
Also known as a lifting beam or spreader beam, a crane spreader bar is specialized equipment used in rigging and material handling. It is usually a horizontal steel beam suspended from a crane hook. Its main purpose is to evenly distribute the load and provide stable lifting points for long or wide materials, keeping the load balanced and secure.
Key Components:
-
Main Beam: The central horizontal bar that ensures structural integrity.
-
End Fittings: Points at each end where the crane’s slings or hooks connect.
-
Load Hooks/Attachment Points: Securing points along the beam, often used with slings or chains.
-
Pad Eyes/D-Rings: Additional attachment points for extra security or auxiliary lifting.
Uses of a Spreader Bar:
The primary role of a spreader bar is to evenly distribute weight across multiple lifting points, reducing the risk of damage to both the load and lifting equipment. It is especially useful for long, wide, or fragile materials. Common applications include handling rebar, rebar cages, and long metal or wooden building beams.
Key Features:
-
Load Distribution: Spreads the load across several points to minimize risk of damage.
-
Stability: Prevents tilting or rotation during lifts, keeping materials secure.
-
Versatility: Can be used with slings, chains, or shackles to handle various loads.
-
Safety: Reduces the chance of straps or slings damaging the load and prevents dangerous swinging or shifting during lifting.
