Make short work of overgrowth, brush, and scrub with the Veritas VM-85 Mini Flail Mower. Designed specifically for mini excavators in the 1–8 ton class, this attachment converts your machine into a powerful mulching tool.
The VM-85 uses a high-speed rotor fitted with flail blades that spin at ~2,200 RPM (nominal), shredding grass, small saplings, and brush up to about 5 cm (2") in diameter. The rotor is electronically balanced to reduce vibration and extend bearing life.
Its heavy-duty housing is built from A572 grade steel, with replaceable skid shoes and side guards to protect the mechanisms during tough swings. Hydraulic drive is direct and efficient, with protection on the motor side (flanges and debris shields) to defend against wire, rocks, and stray debris.
Mounting is via the standard quick-attach coupler system, so you can swap it on and off your excavator easily. The VM-85 is designed to minimize downtime while maximizing productivity on vegetation management, site prep, and corridor clearing.
