At Sullivan Equipment Co, our goal is to provide transparent and reliable shipping information for our customers. Orders are processed within 24-48 hours upon receipt, excluding weekends and holidays. Orders placed after 5 pm will be processed the next business day. Batteries ship FedEx and will arrive in 5-7 days to most of the US. For shipping quotes to countries outside the United States and Canada, please contact us at support@sullivanequipmentco.com.

Shipping Costs

Shipping costs for Dakota Lithium batteries are calculated per battery due to their classification as hazardous materials (hazmat), ensuring safe and compliant handling and transportation. Shipping costs to Alaska and Hawaii may be higher due to federal law that requires that batteries ship Air Freight and have Hazmat protection. If you need to return a battery, a 10% restocking fee will apply. For details on our return policy, refunds, order edits, and exchanges, please visit our returns page. In case of lost or damaged orders, contact our support team for assistance. Orders may take longer to arrive due to variables outside of our control. We will communicate any potential delays and provide timeline estimates to keep you informed. After placing an order, you will receive a shipment confirmation email with tracking information.     Specifications

    • Storage Capacity: 60 ampere hours (Ah). Dakota Lithium batteries provide consistent power for all 60 amp hours. DL LiFePO4 batteries have a flat voltage curve, meaning they have a steady power output as the battery discharges. The power output will not dramatically drop like similar sized SLA batteries. You get all the juice down to the last drop.

    • Voltage: 36V. Can be wired in parallel up to 10 units for more capacity and a longer run time. Not intended for wiring multiple batteries in series, 36V systems only. For 72V battery systems, see our 72V single battery.

    • Energy: 2,304 Watts (Wh).

    • Terminals: M8 bolt size. Easy to adapt to different connection needs. (Max torque 15 ft. lbs.)

    • Size: 13”L x 6.7”W x 8.7”H (331mm x 172mm x 221mm). Group 31 marine battery. Same case size as a standard 12V 100Ah lead acid or AGM battery.

    • Weight: 44 lbs (20 Kg). That's 75% lighter than a lead acid battery and 25% lighter than Dakota Lithium's original 36V 63Ah battery.

    • Lifecycles (battery lifespan): Up to 80% capacity for 5,000 cycles in recommended conditions. The typical SLA has 500 cycles. Dakota Lithium batteries last so long that the price per use is a fraction of traditional batteries.

    • Operating temperature: Ideal for rugged & harsh environments. Much better than SLA or other lithium’s. -4°F to 140°F (-20°C to 60°C) optimal operating temps. Avoid charging below 32°F.

    • Discharge: 60 A max continuous, 180 A max pulse, 30-second pulse.

    • Charge: 30A max, 42V max recommended. Please note: this battery should be charged between 32°F to 113°F (0°C to 45°C) with a LiFePO4 compatible charger.

    • Includes active BMS protection: Contains a circuit that handles cell balancing, low voltage cutoff, high voltage cutoff, short circuit protection, and high-temperature protection for increased performance and longer life.

    • Certifications: All batteries are UN 38 certified. Dakota Lithium's cells are UL1642 certified and have been tested per IEC62133 standards. Meets all US & International regulations for air, ground, train, & marine transport.
